Anger Management for Parents: Help You and Your Child Manage Anger, Frustration, and Challenges

Wednesday, January 24, 2024, 6:30-8:00pm

Develop practical tools and strategies for managing anger and frustration both for parents and their children. We will cover strategies for dealing with anger in the moment, as well as ways to coach children deal with their upset in healthy and productive ways. Presented by Melissa Allen, director and head teacher of Story Garden preschool.

Location: Loma Vista Adult Center multi-use room; 1266 San Carlos Ave, Concord

Positive Parenting Classes: You can find Teacher Melissa year-round on Tuesday nights at Loma Vista Adult Center teaching parenting classes for Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Classes are free to anyone living within the MDUSD boundaries and $10 per class for those living outside the district. Find more information about class topics and schedule on the Mt.
